This is official:
Hapoel Jerusalem announced today (Wednesday) the signing of 20-year-old Israeli chin Gilad Levy to a 4-year contract.
Yotam Halperin said: "We are happy that Gilad is joining us. Everyone who has seen him develop in recent years understands how exceptional talent is in our basketball landscape, and no less, how he shaped from a child to a mature and dominant player with an exceptional set of abilities for his age and size. To Gilad, and we will provide him with all the tools to continue to move forward, from a common long-term vision. "
Levy, who rises to a height of 2.20 meters, began his career in the children's department of Hapoel Ashdod and already in his first years trained with children two years older than him.
At the age of 14 he moved to the Gilboa / Maayanut academy, where he began to show rare sparks to a player his size.
