The fifth section of the Tour de France ended tonight (Wednesday) with a historic victory for Israel Premier Tech, the first in its history in the most prestigious bicycle race in the world: Simon Clark won a dramatic section of curbs in Belgium.
This is a great achievement for the Israeli team, which was formed a few years ago and suffered a difficult and disappointing season.

Sylvan Adams, one of the team's owners, said: "Hello Israel, we have special and happy news for you: The Israel Premier Tech team won a stage in the Tour de France stage for the first time in team history. We have now won a stage in all three Grand Tours "France. We are still in the early stages of the competition, but this is probably our biggest victory."
Guy Niv, who finished the section in 121st place (and ranked 158 overall), said: "I will start from the end - I could not hold the handlebars in the last two sections and I have cuts on all hands, but as soon as I heard on the radio that Simon won it was a crazy feeling and I was so happy "For him, because he deserves it.
