The victory of Nice before the CNOSF in 2002, the precedent which leaves a tiny hope in Bordeaux

While the Girondins de Bordeaux, relegated to National 1, are on the edge of the abyss, OGC Nice had experienced a similar situation in 2002. The Aiglons had won their case before the French National Olympic and Sports Committee.


Relegated to National on an administrative basis by the National Directorate of Management Control, the financial policeman of French football in mid-June, the Girondins de Bordeaux saw their appeal rejected on Tuesday by the appeal committee of the French Football Federation (FFF ).

The Bordeaux leaders, who have decided "

to appeal against this iniquitous decision

", should seize the CNOSF or an administrative court.

With the hope of experiencing the same fate as OGC Nice twenty years ago.
