Danny Abdia practices shooting with personal trainer Drew Hanlan (from Instagram)
Danny Abdia has stated that he will dedicate the summer to improving shooting from the outside, and in the meantime one can already start to see the results.
In recent weeks, the Israeli forward has been working with personal trainer Drew Anlan, one of the NBA's top player development coaches, with an emphasis on shooting and everything related to it.
In videos released in the last day by Hanlan, who has worked in recent years with the best stars in the world's best league including Joel Ambide, Jason Taitum and Bradley Bill, Abdia shows a more natural release of the ball and improved shooting mechanics.
There is no doubt that improving outside shooting will significantly help the loser to put a stake in the NBA.
Last season he was just 31.7 percent accurate off the arc, an average similar to the one he set in his rookie season.
Abdia may have improved in this area at times, especially in the latter part of the season, but this season he will try to make another leap forward in an attempt to screw up as a legitimate top five player in Washington.

When it comes to penalty percentages, Abdia is already on a clear upward trend.
Last season he was 75.7 percent accurate, compared to a problematic 64.4 percent in the rookie season.
