Oliver Zeidler confirms his good form with a first place at the Henley Royal Regatta.
London/Schwaig – The Schwaiger continues his winning streak after winning the German Championship and the World Cup in Belgrade.
"Winning here in 2019 was pretty great," said Zeidler after the award ceremony.
"It's one of the best regatta experiences I've had in my short career and it was really, really good, this high-profile event."
For him, Henley is a unique regatta: "Powerful, colourful, a bit crazy.
Thousands of participants and visitors, the whole city is upside down for five days.
And it feels wonderful to be able to get my second win on the Thames.”
Zeidler won the Diamond Challenge in singles with a controlled victory over Australian David A. Bartholot.
The head-to-head, man-to-man race is unique, especially for international rowers who typically race in a large field of six boats.
