"There is such a breeding ground here, such potential...": will the Stade Français be the great women's basketball club that Paris is waiting for?

It's an incongruity, an aberration for basketball fans.

While Parisian football, rugby, handball and volleyball clubs, among others, all have representatives in the women's elite, basketball is the only one missing from the map.

For 30 years, and the disappearance of Racing CF in 1992, no women's basketball club has been present at the highest national level within the rails of the Paris ring road.
