Ice hockey state league club EV Moosburg is pushing ahead with its squad planning for the new season.
However, there are still some open construction sites.
Moosburg
– The team squad of the ice hockey state league club EV Moosburg is slowly taking shape: Maximilian Knallinger comes from the Erding Gladiators to the green and yellow.
The youngsters Vincenz Maier, Daniel Loidl and Benedikt Triebswetter will continue to lace up the skates for Moosburg.
However, Captain Bastian Krämmer disembarks for this.
The 30-year-old defender has played for EV Moosburg since the 2013/14 season.
First in the Bayernliga and for the past three seasons as captain in the Landesliga.
Krämmer will probably switch to a league competitor and thus increases the pressure on the sporting management to commit a few more experienced defensive specialists for the coming season.
So far, apart from the two young defenders Vincenz Maier (24) and Benedikt Triebswetter (21), EVM has only seven offensive players in its squad, most of whom are under 25 years old.
Maximilian Knallinger went through all youth teams in Erding
Starting next season, this will also include new signing Maximilian Knallinger, who started playing ice hockey at the age of four at TSV Erding.
He went through all youth teams with the Young Gladiators and has been part of the Bayernliga squad since the 2019/20 season.
Last season, the 21-year-old made a total of 35 appearances with the Erding Gladiators.
At Landesliga-Club EV Moosburg, the striker will wear the number 34.
(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
Vincenz Maier will continue to be on the road with the 22 in the EVM defence.
Born in Landshut, he enjoyed his sporting training at the traditional Lower Bavarian club and joined EV Moosburg for the 2018/19 season.
There he has developed into a reliable defensive strategist in the past four seasons.
Benedikt Triebswetter is also on his way there: The 21-year-old Moosburg native has already proven in the last two rounds of points that he has what it takes to become a regular player.
Looking for reliable goal-getters
The same applies to Daniel Loidl, who should definitely be able to establish himself as a striker in the state league at the age of 21.
However, probably not in the first storm row.
After the departures of Daniel Schander and Miloslav Horava, those responsible at EVM would have to look around for two or three real goal-getters.
