The popular climber of the Groupama-FDJ team will evolve at home this Friday during the 7th stage between Tomblaine and La Planche des Belles Filles. Guided tour.


Since 2012, the Planche des Belles Filles has been a regular in the Tour de France.

A passage that the favorites like to leave their mark on.

Christopher Froome (2012), Vincenzo Nibali (2014), Fabio Aru (2017), Dylan Teuns (2019) and Tadej Pogacar (2020) picked pretty bouquets there.

I must have been 10 years old.

The Tour de Franche-Comté passed all the time there, we came by bike.

We walked uphill for quite a while.

When you are little, you go up half on foot.

I climbed to the top in minimal, at 13-14 years old.

It was a challenge.

The big climb around the corner.

I was never a big fan of this climb in training because it's steep and it's a dead end above you have to turn around and start again.

I do it about ten times a year.

This is where I saw my first high-level bike races.

I had my first thrills here in 2012 on my first Tour.
