There was a lot of movement in the Vatanspor Freising squad.
New coach Sari should, among other things, bring the first and second teams closer together.
– A major upheaval is pending at the district classist Vatanspor Freising.
Tamer Bulkurcu, the ubiquitous team manager, had thrown in the towel at the end of the season and switched to BC Attaching.
With him, a significant part of the team left the club.
Now the new head of department Muhammet Esen, together with his team and trainer Deniz Sari, wants to create a new sense of unity at Vatanspor - and thus create a viable structure for the future.
So far, Alen Kovacevic from FC Mintraching and Cihat Karaüzüm from SV Essenbach have been signed as newcomers.
However, Esen emphasizes that he is still working on two or three players who will be added in the next few weeks and should ensure that the team's level comes close to that of the previous season (third place in the table).
But it is clear that there will be a younger squad.
Because most of the emigrated actors were around 30 years old.
With Haydar Kaya, Ahmet Kuyumcu, Nick Günaydin and Recep Akpinar, four players switched to SGT Istanbul Moosburg.
Cenk Toprak and Camillo from Rombs followed team manager Bulkurcu to BC Attaching - and top scorer Fatih Masat joined SC Freising, where Mert Gündüzalp is probably also drawn to.
Ismail Hazar returned to DJK-SV Altdorf after a short guest appearance.
Vatanspor Freising: Deniz Sari should pass on his high-class experience to the young players
All in all, this is a huge bloodletting that Vatanspor will have to cope with in the coming season.
Above all, the new coach Deniz Sari is in demand, who replaces Erhan Masat and is given the opportunity by the department management to pass on his philosophy and skills to the young players as a player-coach.
The 36-year-old is a very experienced footballer who has played at a higher level for many years and has scored goals from the district league to the regional league for Türkgücü-Ataspor Munich, TSV 1860 Rosenheim, VfB Hallbergmoos and TuS Holzkirchen, among others.
Vatanspor football boss Muhammet Esen believes Sari is just the right man to bridge the gap between the first and second teams.
That's why you want to send the two teams together on the training ground in the first phase of preparation.
So everyone would have the chance to offer themselves.
"In general, the cohesion between the two teams should be strengthened, the entire system should become more permeable," explains the new head of department.
A barbecue with all the players and their families was also on the program for one simple reason: "It's important to me that the players get along well off the field too." JOSEF FUCHS
