The only French sprinter selected individually for the Eugène Worlds (July 15 to 24), will Mouhamadou Fall run in the United States?
The triple French 100m champion is subject to a third breach of whereabouts obligations, i.e. a no-show during an anti-doping control or incorrect information concerning whereabouts information transmitted to the French Agency for the Fight against Doping (AFLD).
Contacted by l'Equipe.fr, he mentioned in particular
"problems encountered with the ADAMS application"
to justify his shortcomings.
Currently in the United States, the 30-year-old athlete is one of the French sprinters selected for the 200m individually, as well as the 4x100m relay, notably in the company of Méba-Mickaël Zeze who achieved two fine performances last weekend in the 100 and 200m.

Mouhamadou Fall benefits from a legal period of several days to justify his no-show, and the AFLD will then decide to close the case, or to prosecute the athlete.
In this case, the tricolor sprinter risks 1 year of suspension effective on the date of his last no-show, i.e. before the Eugene Worlds.
If he races in the United States, he could be downgraded retroactively.
His training partner, Amaury Golotin, was unable to qualify for the Eugene Worlds for similar facts concerning AFLD controls.
