Washington held a press conference tonight (Friday) to mark the extension of Bradley Bill's contract, which provoked many reactions throughout the NBA.
As you may recall, Bill signed a five-year contract during which he will earn $ 251 million, and will hold a rare clause in the best league in the world, in which he can veto trades.
In fact, the clause in question leaves the power in his hands and "bends" and limits the group if you want to transfer it to another group in the future.
This is a section that no active player in the league has, and has been awarded in the past in only 11 cases, most of them to players from the top of the league.
"You'll always find something to talk about," Bill said at the news conference when asked about the special section.
"It will never stop. The next thing you talk about is, 'When will he be used in this section and demand a trade'? But I'm not dealing with that."

Bill promised that "my dream is to win the championship with Washington, and I will do everything to make it happen," and owner Ted Leonis also explained the clause in question, saying "he will not want to trade, and we will not want to move him - so everything will be fine in this matter."
Bill also took the stage to compliment Danny Abdia, who is currently working on shooting with personal trainer Drew Hanlan.
"He's starting to mature as a legitimate defensive-attacking player. What's special about him is that he's constantly learning. At the end of last season he got the coach the freedom to lead a ball, and we saw he improved on that. He became one of our best guards, if not the best of them. "He will continue to improve his shooting. He is very young, but is starting to get ready. For me, the sky is the limit for him."
