FIBA published today (Friday) the list of participants in the 2022-2023 European Cup season - including two Israelis: Hapoel Galil Elyon, which was placed directly in the home stage, and Hapoel Haifa, which will participate in the qualifiers for the second year in a row. The draw will take place this Thursday in Munich.
32 teams registered for the factory this season, when Galil received the ticket for the regular season thanks to Israel's ranking in the FIBA tournaments and the fact that it is the registrant that finished in the highest place among those in the Premier League.

The qualifiers will be held at the end of September (27-30), when Hapoel Haifa may be ranked in the lottery and will therefore start its way directly from the second round.
If she starts already in the first round, she will meet one of the Croatian juniors Zagreb from the Icelandic team Thor.
It should be noted that in light of the fact that not all of the Champions League qualifiers will take part in the European Cup, it may be that qualifying for the last round of the qualifiers will also be enough to take part in the home stage.
