Seven years after being suspected of corruption and accepting bribes and removed from all activity in the football industry, a court in Switzerland has decided to clear FIFA and UEFA presidents in the past of all charges against them

A Swiss court today (Friday) acquitted Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini, former FIFA and UEFA presidents, and ended the lengthy legal proceedings against the two for corruption and bribery.

Blatter and Platini have been charged with felony criminal mischief after a $ 2 million transfer from the FIFA president's bank account to that of the Frenchman, who was then due to replace him as president. The ethics and claim made use of the World Cup organization's funds for personal purposes.

As you may recall, former FIFA and UEFA presidents have been accused that Blatter transferred to Platini in 2011 about $ 2 million of the organization's funds for personal purposes.

Blatter was subsequently fired and after six years of interrogation, was convicted of forgery of documents, misappropriation of funds and fraud.
