In the test against SV Waldeck Obermenzing, SpVgg Kammerberg improved significantly, especially with the ball.

Coach Koston is satisfied.

– The knot has burst at SpVgg Kammerberg.

The district league team clinched their first win in their third friendly and showed good approaches in the 5-2 (2-0) win against SV Waldeck-Obermenzing, especially in possession.

"It was very good overall," said player-coach Matthias Koston with satisfaction.

The game association started against the Munich district league with two newcomers: Maximilian Richter acted in central defense and Damjan Knetemann on the left.

Since the attacking footballer's thigh closed early, Jonas Grundmann, another newcomer, took his place from the 21st minute.

It didn't take Grundmann long to get up to speed: in the 29th minute he completed a well-played attack placed in the upper left corner.

And that wasn't the only combination worth seeing from the home team, who made it 2-0 before Peter Gschrey (40') made the change.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

Coach Koston brought on six more players in the second half – but nothing changed in the course of the game.

The Kammerbergers were still the better team, but did not always finish their attacks consistently.

A corner then led to the Waldecker goal from Lukas Obergrussberger (52').

But before the game could turn, Patrick Sturm made it 3-1 (69th).

In the final phase, however, things got hot again: First, Obergrußberger converted a controversial penalty kick (87th).

But there was no more tension, because shortly afterwards Marcel Truntschka (88th) and Niklas Kiermeier (90th + 2) ensured the 5:2 victory with their goals - and thus clear conditions.
