Marie Sophie Harvey abandoned the World Swimming Championships held in Budapest about a month ago due to a "mysterious injury".
But in a post she posted to Instagram, Sophie revealed that a terrible incident happened to her after winning the Canadian team bronze medal in the 200 * 4 freestyle, an ointment held on 25.6.
Sophie said she spent time with her friends in the Hungarian capital Budapest after the anointing, but that night took a dark turn.
"Suddenly I did not remember anything. A window of four to six hours was created that I did not remember anything."

Marie revealed that she got up the next morning and felt "really lost" when the team doctor and coach were by her side.
Marie was evacuated to the hospital after being drugged and came out of it with a concussion and a rib injury.
She claims she suffered many bruises, probably while her friends were dragging her out while she was unconscious.
Harvey testified that she was left with psychological scars and fears.
She felt that her body no longer belonged to her.
"I'm still scared of the fact that I do not know exactly what happened that night," she recounted, "I'm still looking for Marie joy before that event."
The swimmer said she was debating whether to share that she was drugged, but felt the need to share it with her followers: "I will not let this incident define me. I am still learning to deal with it and find myself again."
