After three consecutive victories in the preparatory games in Israel, Maccabi Haifa is today (Saturday) holding its first game as part of the training camp when it is hosted by Mechelen in Belgium, with Younes Melda at 11.
Debuts in green for French defender Pierre Corno and striker from Haiti Franzi Piero, Dolev Haziza on the bench.
The Israeli champion is also scheduled to meet Westerlo during the camp and will play against Vitesse on Tuesday, when she returns to Israel the next day.
Next Saturday, Maccabi Haifa expects the first official game of the 2022/23 season, at home against Hapoel Beer Sheva as part of the Champions League.
Four days later, on July 20, it will host Olympiacos in the second round of the Champions League qualifiers.
