FC Bayern is apparently intensifying its efforts to attract Matthijs de Ligt from Juventus Turin.
If there is a transfer, Dayot Upamecano's departure cannot be ruled out.
Munich – The online portal
transfermarkt.de puts
its market value at around 75 million euros.
In 2019, Matthijs de Ligt cost Juventus Turin a fee of 85.5 million euros, which went to Ajax Amsterdam at the time.
Now the northern Italians are said to be demanding 80 million euros from FC Bayern Munich for the 22-year-old Dutchman, who is to become the new chief of defense for the German Bundesliga record champions.

Kicker
reports
and writes that CEO Oliver Kahn and sports director Hasan Salihamidzic are in good spirits that the central defender can ultimately be signed.
A commitment by the 38-time Dutch national player could lead to far-reaching changes in the second step.
Not only that, with Omar Richards, a defender is said to be about to leave.
In this case to Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League.
De Ligt would be the new defense chief.
And that was actually the job description for Frenchman Dayot Upamecano prior to this season.
But the central defender kept showing weaknesses.
The same applied to his compatriot Lucas Hernández, whom FCB coach Julian Nagelsmann also publicly accused of a lack of communication on the pitch.
And then there's Benjamin Pavard, the next Frenchman in Bayern's defensive department.

According to
Kicker
, the 26-year-old does not rule out a departure this summer after Munich signed Noussair Mazraoui, a new right-back.
As
Sky
reports, the bosses can imagine a transfer – but not Nagelsmann.
It should be different with Upamecano.
According to
Kicker
, Bayern would be willing to talk to the 23-year-old if a buyer was found who would also be willing to pay a decent fee.
After all, a transfer from de Ligt would first have to be refinanced.
And at 80 million euros, it gets tricky even for the giants from the Bundesliga.
If Matthijs de Ligt comes: Dayot Upamecano will leave Bayern Munich?
An indication of Upamecano's willingness to change could be that he recently changed his advisor.
This is reported
by Sport1
.
The French defender is now represented by Gordon Stipic from the agency Unique Sports Group.
The new consultant is said to be well networked in England and Italy.
Previously, Upamecano was advised by the well-known player agent Volker Struth, one of whose clients is ex-Munich Niklas Süle (Borussia Dortmund).

As the
picture
writes, Salihamidzic was recently in Turin, where he played between 2007 and 2011, to discuss the details of a transfer.
De Ligt has therefore already signaled that he sees himself in Bavaria in the future – and no longer in Piedmont.
A change would probably result in further transfers.
