Wimbledon final 2022: Dominator Djokovic meets underdog Kyrgios

Wimbledon - The most important decision in the tennis calendar is coming up!

On the sacred lawn of Wimbledon, Nick Kyrgios (Australia) and Novak Djokovic (Serbia) duel for the most coveted trophy on the ATP tour.

The roles could hardly be distributed more clearly: Djokovic goes into the final in the London suburb as the defending champion and first on the seed list, and the 35-year-old veteran is reaching for his 21st Grand Slam title.

Nick Kyrgios, on the other hand, reached his first Grand Slam final after giving up superstar Rafael Nadal in the semifinals and can now dream of his first major individual title.

Wimbledon final live: Badboy against pure dominance

However, the series of his Serbian opponent in the final speaks against a surprise success for the Australian bad boy: Djokovic has not only won the last three Wimbledon editions (the tournament was canceled in 2020 due to the corona pandemic).

He has been unbeaten on Center Court since 2013, when he lost to Britain's Andy Murray in the final.

On the other hand, the 27-year-old Nick Kyrgios won the two direct duels with the Serbian dominator and did not lose a set.
