Igor Tudor introduced him as his "right arm" during his presentation as the new coach of OM.
A little over a week after leading his first training session with OM, Mauro Camoranesi left the Marseille staff.
Arrived as assistant to the Croatian, his former teammate at Juventus when the two men were players, the Italo-Argentinian decided to put an end to his Olympian experience, according to L'Equipe, to return to Italy.
"Igor called me to help him at the start, while waiting to complete his staff", justifies, in comments reported by the sports daily, the Argentine by birth naturalized in the Boot and world champion with the Squadra Azzurra in 2006. OM made official on Wednesday its presence within the staff composed by Tudor, successor to Jorge Sampaoli in Marseille.

International 55 times with Italy, Camoranesi began a coaching career in 2015 for the time being quite modest, with mixed experiences in Argentina, Mexico and Slovenia.
In this country, he had coached NK Maribor until February 2021. Mauro Camoranesi would like to continue his career as a head coach.
The staff was completed by three other Italians.
Antonello Brambilla, who notably worked at Sampdoria Genoa and Watford, is the goalkeeping coach.
Physical preparation is managed by Carlo Spignoli, who held the same position between 2013 and 2019 in Monaco.
Former Juventus player Giuseppe Maiuri has been appointed video analyst.
