Hapoel Gilboa / Galil today (Wednesday) added another Israeli player to the squad - forward-center Miron Roina (24, 2.02) who signed for two years with Magen Ner.
Roina arrives at Gilboa from Hapoel Eilat where he played in the last three seasons, when in the last season - 2021-22 he scored 3.7 points and dropped 3.8 rebounds per game.
Ruina is a graduate of the basketball department of Hapoel Jerusalem and was crowned European Champion with the national team until the age of 20 in 2018. The latter joins a squad that includes coach Rami Hadar, assistant Goni Yizraeli, players Benya Srur, Or Cornelius, Tzof Ben Moshe, Amit Ziss, Daniel Guetta and Roni Earl.
Meron Roina after signing at the club: "Very happy to come to Gilboa, I heard a lot of good things about the club. I will give everything to help the team meet its goals. I am already looking forward to the opening of training and a meeting with the fans."
