Yam Madar has gone through the first forging season under Zeljko Oberdovic and hopes to make a leap now - but it is highly doubtful that he will get the stage for it.

The signing of James Nanelli yesterday (Wednesday) in the ranks of the Belgrade partisan has made the back line of the Serbian team particularly busy, and the young players - including Madar - may pay the price.

In the run-up to her return to the Euroleague, Partizan significantly upgraded the squad and mainly strengthened the back line.

Senior foreigners Kevin Panther, Zack Lydie and Matthias Lasur were joined by Dante Axum from Barcelona and Nanali from Maccabi Tel Aviv, who are due to complete a five without any local players.

According to Serbian media, Oberdovic plans to place Axum in the position of coordinator - although this is not necessarily his natural position.

In Serbia, the apparent rotation is being analyzed, and according to the Sportsky website, Madar's condition looks very bad: Axum will be the senior coordinator, and his replacement should be Alexa Abramovich, who is considered more senior than Madar).

Madar, then, could become the group's third coordinator.

One thing is for sure: in his first season in the Euroleague, Madar will have to work very hard to earn minutes.
