Bayern Munich and Barcelona are close to concluding the transfer of Robert Lewandowski, Athletic reported today (Friday).
It was also noted that no understandings have yet been reached regarding the deal that has been occupying European football more than all summer, but the direction is positive and there is optimism that it will eventually come to fruition.

These days, the Polish striker is participating in Bayern Munich's training ahead of the 22/23 season, but as I recall, he still strongly demands to leave Germany and has even stated in the past that he is "off and not happy anymore."
Barcelona as mentioned is looking for a big name in candles that will lead the team's attack next season and if Lewandowski does come, he will join Rafinha, Anders Christensen and Frank Xay who have already signed for the Catalan club.
