Disappointment for Hannah Minenko: Did not reach the final of the World Championship | Israel today

Triple jumper Hanna Knyazeva Minenko, tonight (Saturday) set a result of 14.12 meters, at the world championships held in Oregon in the United States and did not reach the final. 

Knyazeva Minenko, 32, who was injured in the championship three years ago but loves the big classes, when she won the silver medal at the 2015 championship, knew that if she wanted to qualify for the final, she had to score 14.40 meters or be among the 12 best jumpers. 

Israel's senior jumper, came to the competition in great shape, when just a week ago, she broke her season record by 31 centimeters and set 14.47 meters, those who on her first attempt, sculpted when she stepped on the board as she stepped on it and went to consult with Rogel Nahum who accompanies her. 

In the second attempt, Minenko managed to produce a result, when she set 14.12 meters, which ranked her in the temporary 12th place overall, but in the meantime more jumps overtook her and in the third and final attempt she was disqualified once again, which was not enough for the final. 

The one who made it to the finals is the world champion Julimer Rojas of Venezuela, who set a result of 14.73 meters in her first jump and went to rest for the next stage.  

Adva Cohen competed in the 3,000-meter hurdles, in the third end, and knew she had to finish in the top three or screw between the six fastest results in the finish to qualify for the next stage, but finished in 35th place overall with a time of 9: 44.74 minutes.
