She is still here:
a blow to the Israeli team Premier Tech, which announced today (Sunday) that its rider, Australian Simon Clark, is positive for Corona and will not jump to the 15th section of the Tour de France.
As you may recall, Clark made history when he won the fifth section of the prestigious Grand Tour just two weeks ago, but now he will have to watch the rest of the race through the TV screens.
"After an internal routine test performed by the team, unfortunately Simon Clark was found positive in the Corona test. Therefore, he will not take a leap to stage 15," said Israel-Premier Tech, adding that the rest of the team and riders were negative for the virus and could leap today as planned.
But Clark is not alone.
Dane Mangos Kurt Nielsen from EF, who took the dramatic tenth section, was also found positive and finished his way this year in the race.
"Kurt woke up this morning with a headache and fever and has since been tested and found positive. He will not start stage 15 of the Tour de France. His medical tests are continuing," a statement from his team said.
This increased the number of riders infected in Corona to 8 this year.
