Tour de France: should stage times be changed to protect riders from the heat wave?

Marc Madiot, the manager of the Groupama-FDJ team has requested anti-heat measures to protect the peloton from the heat wave, but the organizers have little room for manoeuvre.

The mercury will rise again very high on the route of the Tour de France and on the peloton which begins the crossing of the Pyrenees on Tuesday.

On Monday, Marc Madiot asked the race organization to think about protecting the peloton by introducing anti-heat measures.

Marc Madiot's proposal to water down the peloton has already been sent to us and we carried out a first test.
