Kahn was also impressed by de Ligt's "charisma".

After passing the medical check and the first photo shoot in the new red and white outfit, Bayern announced the deal with the Dutchman on their official channels.

On Tuesday, de Ligt flew to his new teammates in the United States.

According to media reports, the transfer fee is 70 million euros, although this is only the base amount.

With possible bonus payments, the payments to Juventus Turin can apparently amount to a total of up to 80 million euros.
