After the farewell to Robert Lewandowski, there is a vacancy in the FC Bayern attack.

Timo Werner flirted with a departure from Chelsea.

London – The German national soccer player Timo Werner is apparently thinking about saying goodbye to Chelsea due to a lack of game stakes.

"I could be happy anywhere," he said after a Blues friendly against Club America (2-1), in which he scored the opener.

The attacker apparently does not rule out leaving London.

Will he return to Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga?

Timo Werner: New competition at Chelsea - will Sterling take his position?

After being taken over by new investors, Chelsea FC has regained its financial strength.

A consortium led by US businessman Todd Boehly bought the club from long-time owner and Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich.

Coach Thomas Tuchel has already received top-class reinforcements - including for the offensive.

Raheem Sterling comes to Stamford Bridge from champions Manchester City for a transfer fee of 56 million euros.

The 27-year-old Englishman can be used flexibly on offense.

Sterling is particularly fond of plowing down the left or right flank, but he can also play as a hanging striker.

And thus possibly stand in the way of Timo Werner?

Timo Werner: Only four Premier League goals - "I should take care of that"

The international has not been happy with the Blues since moving to the Premier League.

In the past season he was mostly only used as a joker and scored a meager four goals in the Premier League.

Not enough for Werner, especially with a view to the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.

"It's clear that I want to play more and I should play more to be in good shape for the World Cup and also have a chance to play at the World Cup," said the 26-year-old.

The most important thing is "that I'm happy.

I'm happy when I score goals.

That's fact.

That's why I should take care of it, everything else will come after that."

Coach Thomas Tuchel did not want to give Werner any assurances.

"Everyone is responsible for their own situation," said the coach.

At FC Bayern, after the departure of Robert Lewandowski, a squad place in the storm is vacant.

Timo Werner is known to those in charge around Hasan Salihamidžić not least because of his successful interlude at RB Leipzig, where he put pressure on Munich with his goals in the race for the championship.
