The technical committee of kickboxing in As-Suwayda has selected the players of the governorate’s teams to participate in the Republic Championship scheduled for next week.
The junior category included Raafat Al-Halabi, Hisham Ghazali, Yazan Al-Ghadban, Karim Abu Fakhr, the youth category Mahmoud, Wissam Abu Fakher, Qais Rashid, Bashar Aqel, Fida Al-Halabi, and the men's category, Ghannam Al-Dabal.
The committee also nominated four young female players, Mary Qutini, Sham Abu Fakhr, Shahd Shukair and Zina Azzam, to participate in the national team selection trials next month in preparation for participating in the Arab Championship hosted by Damascus.
The head of the committee, Radi Al-Hamad, said in a statement to SANA that the accreditation of the players and the nomination of the players was based on the experiments that were held recently, indicating that the committee is subjecting them to intensive training during the current period in order to represent the governorate well in the upcoming elections.
