Laëtitia Guapo: "3x3 basketball has experienced real exponential growth since the Tokyo Olympics"

INTERVIEW – Present at the French Open 3x3 basketball, organized in Reims this weekend, Laëtitia Guapo returned to the development of this new Olympic discipline two years before the Paris Olympics.

Considered one of the best 3x3 basketball players in the world, Laëtitia Guapo already has a significant track record with the French women's team.

In 2019, she was crowned European champion in Debrecen, with a bronze medal pocketed the same year at the Amsterdam World Cup.

The 26-year-old also won European bronze in Paris in 2021. During the World Cup won by France in Antwerp last July, the one nicknamed "The Wasp" was elected MVP of the tournament.

With her “Melting Pote” team, Laëtitia Guapo won her first two matches at the 3x3 French Basketball Open on Friday, organized in Reims.

She is preparing to play the final stages on Saturday.
