The match between the rising Spanish star and Russian Khachanov lasted one hour.
The 19-year-old Alcaraz is scheduled to play in the semi-finals of the tournament, awaiting the winner of the match that will bring together Slovak players Alex Molchan and Croatian Borna Coric later in the day as well.
