We had a race with a host of attacks.
I find Pogacar grown in defeat.
But Vingegaard has a very easy answer to give because as we often say "
Tell me who you beat, I'll tell you who you are.
“So there, he can answer that he beat Pogacar and that’s very strong.
I will remember a memorable start to the Tour de France in Denmark, not only with the countless crowds like in London (in 2007) and Yorkshire (in 2014) but with record market shares at 88%!
You have to realize that each stage of the Tour de France in Denmark this year was like the 1998 football final in France.
So that's crazy.
Then, attacks everywhere, always.
There is always a fight in the first hour of the start of the Tour, but not necessarily with the best, the teammates of the best, but there it was all the time.
We saw a Tour de France attack everywhere, anywhere.
There is also the image of the gull...
