Versatility at a high level was required at the "Alpencup".
The “Pferdefreunde Fischen” were well-mixed internationally.
An Olympic champion caused a moment of shock.
Schwaiganger - The local riders achieved good results at the international eventing tournament for the "iWest Alpencup" at the main and state stud farm in Schwaiganger.
In the three-star test, Meike Weber (Pferdefreunde Fischen) placed ninth on “Kiaora” (50.8 points).
The overall victory went to Nina Schultes (TG Lohrbachhof) with "Grand Prix iWest" (38.5).
At the same time, the duo secured the Bavarian championship title.
The heavy fall of Olympic champion Michael Jung in the cross-country test on Saturday caused a moment of shock.
With "Highlighter" he fell at obstacle 9a and had to be taken to the hospital afterwards.
As Jung announced on Sunday, the horse was unharmed.
He also gave the all-clear: Nothing was broken, even if "everything hurts a bit".
