Oren Aharoni: "We made a great achievement, we are happy" | Israel today

Israel closes four consecutive years by qualifying for the semi-finals of the prestigious championship.

"We started the game excellently and did the things we wanted, and then Montenegro entered the game and were deeper and better quality," said coach Oren Aharoni.

"In the second half we ran out of energy and also suffered from poor shooting percentages and lost."

The team's coach also summed up the tournament: "Today's loss does not detract from the extraordinary achievement we made in this championship. The players did a great job to qualify for the semi-finals, we are happy with the achievement we made."
