Syria's volleyball team lost against its Kuwaiti counterpart today, by three sets to two, in its third match in the first edition of the West Asian Youth Championship, currently being held in the Saudi city of Qatif.

Our team lost in its first match against the Saudi team, by three games to none, and in the second, it defeated the Qatar team, by three games to two.

The team's delegation consists of players Orwa El Sakka, Abdel Salam Al Sheikha, Mahmoud Mohamed, Zine El Abidine Abido, Abdel Rahman Abdel Razzaq, Jano Ishou, Mohamed Abu Bakr, Mohamed Saad, Bahaa Ismail, Khaled Rajeh, Mohamed Nour Abu Raya and Atallah Radwan, under the supervision of coach Ibrahim Khoury, Abdel Latif Abdel Razzaq and Ahmed Khalaf as assistant coaches.
