The atmosphere at the annual general meeting of the SVA Palzing was excellent.

There were sporting successes – and the new elections were perfectly prepared.

Palzing

– Basically, the election of the board of directors at SVA Palzing went very smoothly.

The sports club had prepared everything well - and the club boss Michael Mitterweger, who was still at the top, had only discovered a catch: "Now I'm the oldest on the board." Many other clubs in the district would love to have this Palzinger luxury problem.

In addition to the first chairman Michael Mitterweger, treasurer Andreas Ismaier and treasurer Martin Redl were also confirmed in their posts in the new elections.

Julian Wölfle took over the post of second chairman from Stefan Birkner.

And with secretary Hans Ziegltrum, a veteran of the club resigned after 34 years on the board – Thomas Kroboth inherited him.

Marcel Radlmaier new head of football department

In the usual manner, SVA Palzing had prepared everything perfectly.

Marcel Radlmaier, the midfield strategist of the district league team, is now the head of the football department.

Furthermore, Josef Velten (fee collector), Alexander Goldbrunner (head of football juniors Großfeld), Werner Vogl (2nd head of football juniors Großfeld), Angela Karinscheck (head of juniors Kleinfeld), Walter Schlott (head of the handball department), Sandra Redl (2nd . Head of Handball) as well as Monika Berghammer (Head of Gymnastics), Christa Velten (2nd Head of Gymnastics) and Nina Fuggenthaler (Head of Aikido).

Many loyal members were honored on Thursday at the annual general meeting: (from left) Josef Grepmair, Wolfgang Aumann, Christoph Ziegltrum, Annemarie Neumeir, Julian Wölfle, Maria Badhorn, Thomas Wöhrl, Gertraud Grepmair, Helmut Gottschalk, Hildegard Wiesheu, Stefan Mathias, Maria Mitterweger, Franz Sebald, Lina Forster, Jürgen Taschner and Anton Riesch.

In his annual report, club boss Mitterweger emphasized that the SVA had mastered the two difficult Corona years well.

In addition, it was more successful than expected.

So there was one or the other lavish celebration of promotion among the handball players: A total of five teams became champions in their respective divisions.

But that's not all: The female B youth even managed to qualify for the national league.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

A department is dissolved

Mitterweger praised the relegation of the footballers in the district league in the highest tones: “We have achieved a football miracle.

The SVA is and remains the power in the Ampertal.” The relegation with several hundred frenetic spectators was a highlight for the club.

The chairman thanked coach Sepp Summerer for the tour de force: "He always believed in it."

The reason: the division has had no more sporting activities in recent years and actually no members either.
