What did you think of the game against Gamba Osaka?
Christophe Galtier:
“It was a very good match, very dynamic for one hour, one hour ten of play, with teams who always tried to attack.
Which must have pleased the public who saw goals.
There were two different periods for us, a very good one, the first.
In the second period, after ten minutes, we lost intensity and that made the last half hour of the match very average.
I think it comes from fatigue.
We trained a lot, we played a lot with little recovery time.
But overall, I'm satisfied with both this match and more generally the three matches we played here in Japan.

“We worked after each game on this issue but there is still a lot of work because we conceded two goals which are two goals too many.
I hope that even when we have a substantial lead, that we will be harder to beat when we have to defend as a team.
We need to be more structured and less messy.

“Even if the preparation was very short and the trip very long, the fact of playing these matches in Japan in full stadiums against physically ready opponents forced us to raise our physical level.
We still have a week left, we will still work with rhythm and intensity to correct what was wrong in the three matches and insist on the complementarity of each other.
