Newcastle rumors about Draxler
Will national soccer player Julian Draxler move to the island?
As the French portal "le10sport" reports, Premier League club Newcastle United are said to be interested in signing the 28-year-old.
Draxler has been playing for French top club Paris Saint-Germain since 2017, but was only a supplementary player for the offensive midfield in the star ensemble there.
Financially, a transfer from Draxler, whose contract in Paris runs until 2024, would probably be feasible for Newcastle: The club has been managed by the Saudi Arabian state fund since autumn 2021, and since then the Magpies have already invested more than 200 million euros in new players.
Werner back to Leipzig?
Another DFB national player is apparently trying to get match practice ahead of the approaching World Cup in Qatar: Timo Werner recently openly flirted with leaving Chelsea FC for more playing time and emphasized that he could “feel at home anywhere”.
The old sporting homeland should also belong to this "everywhere": As the "Leipziger Volkszeitung" reports, Werner would like to switch back to RB Leipzig, where Werner celebrated his breakthrough between 2016 and 2020.
The 26-year-old has a contract at Stamford Bridge until 2025.
Mukiele who is willing to change is released from training
Something could also happen on the departure side at RB Leipzig in the near future.
Defender Nordi Mukiele is said to be on the verge of a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The 24-year-old Frenchman, who trained with PSG city rivals Paris FC as a youth, was absent from Leipzig team training on Monday.
Mukiele can be used as a right-back or central defender and still has a contract with Leipzig until 2023.

Tel already at the medical check
The signing of Sturm-Juwel Mathys Tel by FC Bayern Munich is getting closer.
The captain of the French U17 national team said goodbye to his previous club Stade Rennes via Instagram on Sunday evening and thanked him for the time we had together.
On Monday morning, the designated new Bayern attacker landed in Munich for a medical check-up.
Tel should sign a five-year contract on Säbener Straße, the transfer fee for the talent should be up to 30 million euros.
Most recently, Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann had high expectations of the 17-year-old attacker: "If he scores ten goals this season, I would be very happy," Nagelsmann said during FC Bayern's trip to the USA.
In the future he even believes Tel can score up to 40 goals per season.
