Bad pass orgies and more sleepiness: The severely decimated SE Freising went down 0:5 against Eggenfelden on Saturday.

It's not going at all for the footballers of SE Freising in the Landesliga Southeast.

New low point: the 0:5 (0:2) on Saturday afternoon against SSV Eggenfelden.

It was a noble plan that the new SEF coach Florian Bittner had for this season: tactical changes should lead to success.

Among other things, since the departure of Andreas Hohlenburger, he has ordered two strikers onto the pitch, and a three-man defense should do the trick.

But already on the third day Bittner moved away from this tactic and in the second home game - also due to a lack of staff - again relied on four men in the back row.

But even they couldn't prevent the 0:5 pack.

"It was a complete disaster," admitted the coach frankly.

However, the SEF is also currently suffering from the plague: only 13 reasonably fit kickers from the XXL squad were available on Saturday afternoon.

Bittner himself had to pass as player-coach because he pulled his thigh on Tuesday.

But what was the reason for the game against Eggenfelden?

It was almost a copy of the first two games of the season.

The yellow-blacks were not necessarily played against the wall by their opponents.

The SSV didn't have to either, because the SEF seamlessly continued the bad pass orgies and sleepiness of the two most recent appearances.

For example at 0:1: After a long throw-in from the right, the ball rolled past friend and foe before Goran Sujic was able to shoot from close range (5').

And just five minutes later it got even worse: again, a stationary ball was the starting point, after a corner the home side defended it too sleepily and the ball landed at Thomas Wohlmannstetter, who calmly netted (10th).

That sat.

Few bright spots in the second half

The Freisingers did not become much more active after the change of sides.

After all, there were a few good actions, for example the tireless Maximilian Rudzki or Felix Fischer and substitute Marcos Hones.

Others remained a shadow of themselves against Eggenfelden. At some point, the yellow-blacks gave up - and so the guests were able to screw up the result with Sujic (69th), Alexander Gordok (82nd) ​​and Daniel Ungur (87th). .

The fact is: the young SEF team definitely has potential.

But she needs time.

And eventually a sense of achievement.
