The storm surrounding Oskar Gluch also made headlines in the Greek media, which closely follows Vladan Ivić.

As a reminder, the father of the Maccabi Tel Aviv midfielder was recorded cursing and criticizing the coach in an audio recording, after his son came off the bench in the 89th minute in the first game of the Yellows against Zira in the Conference League qualifiers.

"Stupid coach, that's why they threw him out of England, he would have done the same thing, didn't let the stars play. They threw him out like a dog, in England they didn't count him, in Israel they won't throw him out because of that, but I hope we don't stay with him," Gloch the father is heard saying, And in Greece they cited.

The Greek media were surprised by what was defined as "a scandal that crumbles Maccabi Tel Aviv before the expected meeting with Aris Thessaloniki" in the next round of the Conference League qualifiers.

Even in Greece they wonder how he will react.

"Ivitch is a very authoritative figure, and he certainly does not enjoy or like it when his honor is insulted," one of the sites noted.

"It will be interesting to see to what extent, if at all, he will use it in the following games, including against Aris Thessaloniki."

Maccabi Tel Aviv predicts that Gloch will not be punished for what his father said.

Senior officials of the team held a consultation on the issue together with Ivić, and it appears that the Yellows will win.

Ivic even made it clear that he does not intend to deal with or be influenced by associates, and focuses solely on the conduct of the players themselves.
