The sun hits the banks of the Marne with full force, on this hot Sunday in July.
Some venture as far as swimming to cool off, but others remain on the surface of the water, without getting wet, or almost.
Here in Joinville-le-Pont, in the Val-de-Marne, the association Le Grand Huit offers to try stand up paddle.
To do this, nothing could be simpler: a board, a paddle, and off you go.
After only a few hesitant minutes, everyone manages to stand up.
