He had not played a single match in the jersey of the Blues since his first timid steps in the World League in 2015. But at the time, Médéric Henry, then barely 20 years old, was content to the group stage and had left the group before the Final Four of the event, now renamed the League of Nations.
He had therefore not participated in the conquest of the gold medal.
