This is the question that a whole club, a whole city has been asking itself for weeks.
It is now official, the Girondins de Bordeaux keep their place in Ligue 2 for next season.
After being relegated from Ligue 1 last season by finishing dead last.
The club had immediately been relegated administratively to National by the DNCG.
After further study of the case, the FFF finally decided to keep the club in the second division.

“The executive committee of the French Football Federation, meeting today, took the decision to accept the conciliation proposal formulated by the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF), dated July 25, 2022, concerning the maintenance of the FC Girondins de Bordeaux in Ligue 2 BKT.

The executive committee of the FFF asks the National Directorate of Professional Club Management Control (DNCG) to summon FC Girondins de Bordeaux to judge any immediate monitoring and control measures against it.
The FFF executive committee also asks the DNCG to exercise reinforced and regular financial control of the club during the 2022-2023 season.
