A race can be lost or won by starting.
For
Doux Parfum
(n°13), the victory was surely played during his ultra-fast warm-up which allowed him to erase his initial handicap of 25 m.
An observation shared by his driver, Yoann Lebourgeois.
"It's as if I had started in the lead," he says at Equidia's microphone.
“He is a horse with great action, continues the winning trainer, Guillaume Gillot, who won his sixth quinté.
I prefer it close to the front of the race because it doesn't have a big shift.
But with Yoann on his sulky, who is a fan of forward racing, things went well.
Thus,
Doux Parfum
won its first quinté while its driver of the day now has 39 to its name.

Constantly pointed on a third line on the rope,
Crack Atout
(n°3) draws a good end of race and seizes the first runner-up ahead of
Farrell Seven
(n°8), to be credited with a good final effort after an unwinding unfavorable race.
Long in the wake of the future winner,
Falcao de Chenu
(n°2) cracked to finish but managed to keep fourth place ahead
of Dassero
(n°5).
Halim Bouakkaz and Stéphan Flourent indicated the fifth in the disorder.
