FC Bayern uses the latest technology when looking for players.
A newly created computer program helps with the selection of transfers.
Munich – FC Bayern can already feel like a winner before the season starts.
The German record champion is one of the high achievers not only on the football field, but also on the transfer market and has done his homework early on.
With Sadio Mané and Matthijs de Ligt, two superstars came to Säbener Straße, as well as hopeful players like Noussair Mazraoui, Ryan Gravenberch and Mathys Tel.
But where does this speed of action of the Bayern bosses come from, while in the past last-minute changes were often pushed through?
The Bavarians trust in a new super computer.

FC Bayern relies on new computer program – Kahn: "It is important that we act intelligently on the transfer market"
“It is important that we act intelligently on the transfer market.
We did our most important homework early on,” says CEO Oliver Kahn.
In contrast to recent years, FC Bayern Munich is relying on a new transfer strategy, which means scouting potential newcomers at an early stage and initiating the deal accordingly.

The transfer summer of 2020 remained in unpleasant memory, when five average professionals were brought in with Douglas Costa, Marc Roca, Bouna Sarr, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Tiago Dantas in a cloak-and-dagger operation at the last minute.
Less than two years later, only back-up Choupo-Moting and Sarr are still under contract, but the Senegalese right-back is a candidate for sale.
FC Bayern transfer computer calculates transfer fee and salary
To prevent such transfer flops from happening again in the future, sports director Hasan Salihamidzic and Kahn are also using a new computer program, as reported by
Sport Bild
.
With the tool, the squad should be able to be displayed with a wide variety of variables.
If a player such as Lewandowski leaves, the program not only immediately spits out players who fit the profile.
The highlight: the transfer fee and salary are also taken into account immediately – this means that Bayern can become active on the transfer market even faster.

So it is not surprising that Bayern use the latest technology, but the values of the club are still the top priority for success.
"It is important that we keep our pillars and players who can develop in the long term," explains Kahn.
"The goal is for the players to continue to absorb and live the special identity of FC Bayern - and then, see Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Serge Gnabry, Kingsley Coman, to keep extending their contracts." The computer obviously has one other players filtered out.
