“The right time”: Brazzo is leaving Bayern-Bank – his successor has already been chosen

There is a change on the FC Bayern bench.
Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic will vacate his position with immediate effect.
Munich/Leipzig – Things are getting serious for Bayern Munich.
With the duel for the DFL Supercup (you can find the ticker for the game here), the Munich team will start the new season.
In the summer, the Bayern bosses made a change: Robert Lewandowski left the club, numerous newcomers to the star duo Sadio Mané and Matthijs de Ligt moved to Säbener Straße.
However, there will be another change from now on.
Hasan Salihamidzic is no longer on the Bayern bench!

"I've decided not to sit on the bench for the games, but in the stands next to Oliver Kahn," explained Salihamidzic.

FC Bayern: After five years at Bayern-Bank - Brazzo hopes for "additional perspective"
"Brazzo" has been back at FC Bayern since 2017.
From 1998 to 2007 he laced up the shoes for the record champions as a player.
Since his return as sporting director, Salihamidzic has sat on the bench.
That didn't change even when he was promoted to sports director.
Brazzo even waves a contract extension.
His current working paper is valid until 2023.

On the Bayern bench he sat next to great coaches like Carlo Ancelotti, Jupp Heynckes, Hansi Flick and most recently Julian Nagelsmann.
But that will be the end of it now.
“My move to the stands will give us another perspective that we need.
In the analysis, too, we will gain an additional perspective.
I think it's the right time," the 45-year-old is certain and makes it clear: "That's why I'm not giving up my closeness to the team."

It has already been decided who will take Brazzo's place at Bayern-Bank.
Marco Neppe will be sitting next to Julian Nagelsmann's coaching team with immediate effect.
"I've been thinking about it for a long time," confirms Salihamidzic.
Neppe "built up a very good relationship with the team in the dressing room last season, we're in a very good position now." The technical director has recently been heavily involved in transfers, for example at France jewel Mathys Tel. For Neppe it is a further rise in the internal hierarchy.
