French champions Paris St. Germain have clinched their first title of the season.

In the 4-0 (2-0) in the Super Cup final against cup winners FC Nantes, the superstars Lionel Messi (22nd), Neymar (45th + 5 / 81st penalty) and Sergio Ramos (57th) scored for the team of the new coach Christophe Galtier.

Messi and Neymar in particular were heavily criticized after Paris' Champions League defeat by Real Madrid in the round of 16.

Ramos had missed most of the season injured.

After the season, there were repeated rumors, especially about Neymar, that he wanted to leave the club.

Draxler and Kehrer not in the squad

Superstar Kylian Mbappé, who was absent due to a yellow card suspension, did not play on Sunday evening.

Nevertheless, the final was a clear affair.

The German internationals Julian Draxler and Thilo Kehrer were not even in the squad again.

Above all, Draxler, who was late in preparing due to knee surgery, is considered a candidate for deletion in the Parisian star ensemble.

There are also repeated rumors about Kehrer.

Newcomer Nordi Mukiele from RB Leipzig, on the other hand, made his first appearance in the PSG jersey.

The 24-year-old moved from the German cup winners to the French capital at the beginning of the week for around ten million euros and was allowed to play a part in winning the title from the 79th minute.

Paris St. Germain has dominated French football at will for years.

So far, however, it has not been enough for the big hit – winning the Champions League.
