According to sources familiar with the details, Latvian forward Marks Meiris is a candidate to join the Reds.
Mairis (30, 2.07 m) played last season in Pesaro from the Italian league and averaged 8.1 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.
Before that he played for Parma from the Russian league and VEF Riga in Latvia.
If he signs, Meiris will be the fifth foreigner on Aleksandar Džikić's roster along with Speedy Smith, Kadin Carrington, LeVai Randolph and Zach Hankins who signed earlier this summer.
