"A sport for all, very accessible": the arrival of padel gives new impetus to tennis clubs in the Ile-de-France region

Many tennis clubs, in Île-de-France and throughout France, are investing in this rapidly expanding discipline.

A net, glass walls and fences.

Padel courts, or tracks, are emerging all over France.

This is a real sporting phenomenon, but also a desire shared by the State and the French Tennis Federation, to which this discipline is attached.

Last October, Emmanuel Macron promised 5000 new sports equipment by 2024, including 500 padel courts.

The FFT also has the will to invest in 500 sites.

The final objective is quantified: to reach 2,000 tracks within two years, against around 1,100 today.
