The court may decide the future of Beitar Jerusalem this week. If the police's position regarding the guarantees that Barak Abramov was asked to provide is accepted, the sale deal may fall through. What are the chances of that happening? All the scenarios are before you, but first a summary: the court has scheduled a hearing for this Sunday at the request of the Jerusalemites, because the police insist that Abramov will not receive the group's shares from Moshe Hogge in the next three years, and in addition he will be required to provide guarantees in the amount of NIS 11 million as a condition for the purchase.
After an urgent request from the group's trustee, attorney Yitzhak Junger, to advance the hearing, so that it would not be close to the control deadline (August 10), the court agreed to hold the hearing tomorrow morning.

Let's go back to the scenarios.
As mentioned, if the court accepts the police's position, it is difficult to see the deal going ahead.
The reason for this is that even if a solution to the guarantee issue is found, the problem for Abramov will be the shares and rights, which he will only receive in three years.
Even if the court partially accepts the police's position - for example: reducing the guarantees by 50% and transferring the shares after one year - it is not clear what will happen to the club.

According to an official at Beitar, "Maybe Abramov will agree to it and maybe not, it depends only on him." If the deal falls through, there is a high chance that Beitar will be relegated to the National League, because the last extension given to the team to submit the budget for the coming season to the control is until August 10
So far, Beitar has not been able to do this, and it is doubtful that it will be given another extension, so as not to harm the other Premier League teams. "You have to understand," say Beitar, "if the team is relegated to the national team, Yossi Aboxis leaves, all the new players leave, and it is doubtful If we manage to field a team at all - this is an existential danger."
In another scenario - Beitar will try to submit a minimum budget, to open the season, regardless of the Abramov deal. The problem is that the control is not interested in approving such a step, and in order for Beitar to open the season in this format anyway, Moshe Hogge, the American buyers or another external party They will have to transfer funds and present collateral to the control.
Such a team in the Premier League, without a significant reinforcement (at most it is cheap foreign players) will only be able to fight tooth and nail against relegation.
In Beitar, it turns out, there are those who believe that even without the Abramov deal, a way will be found to survive: "In the end, they will bring someone to help and things will work out at the last minute, they will not let a club like Beitar Jerusalem collapse."

And there is also the optimistic scenario: the court will accept Beitar's position and not that of the police - and come to Zion Goel. Abramov will very quickly become the owner of the Yellow-Blacks, because Bnei Yehuda has already, in principle, passed into the hands of Moshe Demayo (it is expected to go through the rights transfer committee Management - SA).
True, the loan from the municipality will not be accepted, but it will probably come from another entity.
If Beitar moves to Abramov, it will completely change its face, because it will be able to strengthen itself with four high-quality foreigners and maybe two or three more Israelis.
