Denise Herrmann is getting married soon - and of course that has to be extensively celebrated beforehand with an extraordinary JGA.
Biathlon style.
Ruhpolding - sweat, success, tears or jubilation.
In the Ruhpolding biathlon stadium, the Chiemgau Arena, many emotions are lived out throughout the year.
Whether at the annual stop in the World Cup or in preparation for training.
But a bachelorette party does not take place very often in the winter sports stronghold.
This time it wasn't the black targets that were shot, but rather the bird.
The focus: Denise Herrmann, for whom a group of girls had come up with something special.
"Thanks for this unforgettable bachelorette party girls," wrote Denise Herrmann on her Instagram account.
"I think I'm ready now," she added.
The 2022 Olympic champion posed with cross-country ski shoes and jeans sitting on the floor in front of her group of cheering friends.
Among them were the biathletes Vanessa Hinz, Marion Wiesearter and Karolin Horchler, as well as Maren Hammerschmidt, who is now retired.
Also at the start was the Swiss biathlete Lena Häcki-Groß, who married the son of biathlon legend Ricco Groß this summer.
Biathlon JGA by Denise Herrmann: "Top Wife" is ready
And in the women's round there was also an amusing video of Denise Herrmann jumping on grass in half biathlon gear through the fictitious goal.

Biathlon star Denise Herrmann has big plans this year - and has already implemented a lot
As a message to her future husband, she left a statement: "Thomas, as a top wife, I crossed the finish line, are you ready too?".
Herrmann's soon-to-be husband is Thomas Wick, who has already been featured on Instagram by a number of biathletes.
He even arranged to meet - of course amicably - on a gelato date with Dorothea Wierer.
Wick is 31 years old and a former professional cross-country skier who celebrated his greatest successes at the Junior World Championships and German Championships.

Wick and his 33-year-old fiancé want to say yes in September.
In an interview with our partner portal chiemgau24 in June, Denise Herrmann said: “May was pretty demanding.
In addition to the usual training sessions, I had a lot on my plate privately.
My fiance Thomas Wick and I are in the planning stages of building our house and we are getting married in September.
Nevertheless, I was able to complete my training without any problems.
Everything is going according to plan, I was able to implement everything I had planned."
A great year between Olympic victory, JGA, building a house and wedding - maybe the sports winter can top it all off.
